Position Overview

Dakine, the leading Global Action Sports Equipment manufacturer established since 1979 is seeking a Retail Sales Representative at our Maui, Hawaii flagship location to represent our brand and provide excellent customer service.

Here’s what you will do here:

• Opening and closing store procedures
• Maintain thorough knowledge of store’s products
• Greet and guide customers to the right products
• Keep an up-to-date knowledge of current inventory and backstock
• Keep track of inventory and/or price discrepancies
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of store
• Assist customers with sales of products such as backpacks, travel bags, accessories, outerwear and clothing for people who love to surf, snowboard, skateboard, mountain bike, ski, windsurf, kiteboard and travel
• Additional store responsibilities as required

You’re going to need this to carry out this job:

• Knowledge of surfing and other waterboard sports
• Previous retail and cashier experience
• Excellent customer service experience
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• An eye for organization and cleanliness
• Honest and trustworthy
• Ability to be prompt and punctual
• Have a good work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work with Aloha

Starting pay is $17.00 an hour

10- 20 hours per week
