Theory is seeking an experienced Manager of Inventory Control to join the Retail Operations team.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Control

● Lead and manage annual inventory counts, cycle counts, and data integrity initiatives.

● Responsible for the ongoing management and development of inventory-related store systems across the organization.

● Become a subject matter expert, maintaining expert knowledge of inventory control processes, applications, and platforms using the central operating system, Teamwork.

● Design business processes and standard operating procedures for Inventory Control.

● Lead the way in testing and effectively communicating all inventory system/process updates to the field. Ensuring a monitoring and measuring process follows each deployment.

● Lead inventory-related calls/meetings with corporate business partners and store teams to ensure the sharing of all critical new and existing information.

● Drive in-store KPI attainment for inventory control measurables such as UPH, Order fulfillment Rate, and Shrink reporting.

● Monitor and analyze data within Inventory reports regularly. Communicate findings and develop action plans to improve results.

● Responsible for routine daily/weekly/monthly inventory actions such as systemic inventory movements for stores.

Business Analysis and Driving Performance

● Help train and provide feedback to store leadership and store teams to maintain a high level of inventory integrity throughout the field.

● Identify opportunities and execute strategies to increase operational efficiencies and reduce costs. Report findings and recommend solutions that focus on quality, accuracy, ease of use, and efficiency.

● Perform qualitative analysis on all proposed projects, initiatives, and enhancements; Liaise between IT/BI, stores, Accounting/Finance, and store leadership.

● Assist in developing, implementing, and supervising all operational/inventory control initiatives.

● Responsible for creating and updating back-of-house SOPs, policies, and procedures, such as

replenishment strategies, inventory processes and omni-order processing.

● Provide periodic updates to senior management and other retail management partners by monitoring and measuring key data.

● Additional/ ad-hoc project work within the scope of retail operations as dictated by business needs.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant work experience and 3+ years of experience within retail operations/store management.

● Demonstrate organizational agility and effectively gain consensus across multiple departments, working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

● Has impeccable follow-through and attention to detail. Can effectively prioritize to meet critical deadlines and can project manage.

● Effectively lead and develop a team when called upon.

● Understands through knowledge and firsthand experience what it is like to work in-store at various levels and applies this knowledge/understanding to all processes and systems released to the store. Takes the store's voice into consideration before launching initiatives and changing standard operating processes.

● Maintains curiosity and has a passion for continuous learning.

● Is highly skilled in data analytics. Utilizes data to uncover trends and makes suggestions on improving the business overall.

● Ability to quickly identify emerging problems and their root causes to create solutions.

● Ability to navigate the grey in situations and provide/seek clarity and direction.

● Is systems savvy and possesses excellent computer skills. Proficient in Excel, Google docs/drive, and POS/Mobile operating systems.

● Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.

Salary range: $90,000.00 -95,000.00*
