Design performance footwear that meets the category and overall brand creative direction with an innovative mindset. Exhibit the ability to design performance footwear that balances functionality, aesthetics and engineering. Work within the Performance Running design team to create running and running inspired designs that align with overall brand creative direction.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participate in creative vision during off sites and other design events.
  • Under minimal supervision, exhibit solid design skills with ability to meet key project deadlines.
  • Work on multiple projects across several seasons.
  • Assist others in projects to ensure that category is delivering against deadlines.
  • Work independently within Triad team and have a strong understanding of the product creation process and timelines.
  • Have a strong understanding of shoe construction, process and costing as well as able to prioritize workload and deliver projects on time.
  • There will be travel with senior level designers.

Requirements For Success

  • BA or Masters degree in Industrial Design and/or Fashion design or related area. Innovation, Engineering degree is a plus
  • 0-2 years minimum in footwear design with a general understanding of footwear, design, construction, materials, sourcing and commercialization.
  • Gravity Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro, Procreate
  • 2D-3D Drawing and the ability to visualize concepts
