Fourstar Skateboarding Clothing was established in 1996 by Guy Mariano and Eric Koston. Fourstar Clothing is part of the Girl Skateboard family. Long before Fourstar Clothing Eric Koston, a Thai American professional skater grew up in San Bernardino, California, where he began skating in 1986. Koston was first sponsored in 1991 and turned pro in 1993. He is the co-owner of Fourstar Clothing and also of "The Berrics" skatepark with professional skater Steve Berra. Guy Mariano is a professional skateboarder who hit the big time in 1991 when he was just 14, after his part in the epic Blind Skateboard video Video Days. Before Mariano was with Blind he was with Powell Peralta and in 1996 Guy began riding for Girl Skateboards. Mariano also co-founded the Royal Trucks skateboard truck company with Rudy Johnson in 1997. After a departure from the industry Guy came out of retirement in 2005 with his part in the video Fully Flared. Fourstar is Distributed by the Girl Distribution Co.
