Create and manage all production data for assigned cut & sew product categories throughout bulk production lifecycle from time of PO issuance to receipt of product in DC. Maintain product quality and integrity without compromising delivery. Provide support and feedback to overall departmental process improvement initiatives and efficiencies.

Essential Job Functions

  • The ability to effectively monitor assigned product category for multiple seasons from time of PO issuance to bulk product receipt.
  • Participate in all pre-production development seasonal handovers to production.
  • Create, issue and maintain accuracy of all production PO’s for USA shipments for assigned product category.
  • Manage ESR requests and perform air/sea and/or VAS splits when necessary.
  • Work closely with BrandID/SERO to track PO details, trim orders, and ASN data accuracy.
  • Communicate with internal counterparts to rectify any production related VAS discrepancies. Obtain required trim items for vendor base when necessary.
  • Work closely with vendors to obtain weekly WIP reports to ensure on-time arrival of all bulk production PO’s.
  • Run a weekly Full Circle V3 WIP report and make corrections or updates to PO’s when necessary.
  • Participate in weekly pre-production and production sample fittings to provide feedback on bulk delivery status if needed.
  • Collaborate, coordinate and maintain production sample closet.
  • Manage vendor payment process including invoice submission and/or timely receipt of proforma invoices if payment method is letter of credit.
  • Submit performa invoice and supporting documents to logistics manager to open the letter of credit.
  • Manage receipt of all product testing results and compliance requirements for assigned product category prior to bulk ready date.
  • Review order file to ensure maximum fulfillment of customer start date in the event of a vendor delay or shortage/overage.
  • Work with logistics to obtain freight details and/or rectify any shipment discrepancies.
  • Update PO air freight costs once confirmed by logistics manager.
  • Follow up on discrepancy and close any remaining open PO’s that have not been received 100% matching to buy.
  • Additional tasks as deemed necessary by Sr. Production Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Knowledge of the product life cycle including development and production timelines.
  • Ability to effectively identify and resolve problems.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time.
  • Must be able to work effectively across multiple functions with business colleagues domestically and internationally.

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree –Merchandising or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Product Development and/or Production.
  • Intermediate computer skills with emphasis on MS Office software, Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge in Illustrator is a plus.
  • Full Circle knowledge a plus.
  • PLM software experience also a plus.

Physical Requirements

Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports.

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees.

Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.

Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
