POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our dynamic team at Nixon. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels at the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) level, ensuring product availability, and contributing to the overall success of our supply chain, encompassing multiple channels and international regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand patterns to generate accurate demand forecasts at the SKU level from multiple channels and international regions.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information for demand planning processes at the SKU level, considering diverse demand signals.
  • Monitor inventory levels at the SKU level and implement strategies to minimize excess or obsolete stock while maximizing product availability, considering global demand dynamics.
  • Generate regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess demand planning accuracy at the SKU level and identify areas for improvement across diverse channels and regions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on inventory targets, production schedules, and product launches, ensuring SKU-level precision across international markets.
  • Proactively identify potential risks to the supply chain at the SKU level, considering diverse demand signals from multiple channels and regions, and develop mitigation plans to address disruptions.
  • Utilize advanced forecasting tools and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in demand planning processes at the SKU level, considering the complexity of international demand signals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to adapt and improve forecasting methodologies, focusing on SKU-level insights from a global perspective.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss demand planning insights, share recommendations, and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives, considering the challenges and opportunities presented by diverse international markets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a demand planner in the watch industry or a similar consumer goods sector, with expertise in SKU-level planning across multiple channels and international regions.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; Microsoft Nav or BC a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams in a globally diverse environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced international setting.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in forecasting and data analysis at the SKU level across diverse channels and regions.
