Salary Range - $100,000 - $130,000 per yearAbout Boucheron: Created by Frédéric Boucheron in 1858, Maison Boucheron has evolved through four generations of direct descendants. A visionary designer and the very first of the great contemporary jewelers to open a boutique on Place Vendôme, Boucheron still embodies absolute excellence in Jewelry, High Jewelry and Watchmaking today. The Boucheron style, free and daring, is an expression of the vision, creativity, and innovation of the Maison.Job responsibilities:

  • Drive awareness and ensure Boucheron maintains the highest standards and brand positioning across all events and brand activations, including client events, brand image events, boutique openings, and strategic activation projects across the Americas to express the singularity of the Maison.
  • Partner with the Marketing & Communications Director to develop elevated activation strategies and tools that enhance brand awareness, equity, and visibility for Boucheron Americas.
  • Identify, research, evaluate, and onboard appropriate vendors for treatment and hospitality partnerships while ensuring alignment with our brand's ethos.
  • Oversee agencies and external partners responsible for year-round events and brand activation strategies, including press activations, client events, press and client treatment, boutique activations, brand events, and more.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts, agencies, vendors, and key opinion leaders in the fashion, jewelry, luxury, and creative fields.
  • Manage all aspects of events, including invitations, guest lists, logistics, and post-event follow-up for the American market.
  • Partner on extended hospitality initiatives aimed at enhancing brand experiences, which include elevating food & beverage offerings, crafting bespoke moments, and introducing unique enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, both local and at headquarters, including marketing, design, sales, and e-commerce, to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Introduce traditional and forward-thinking ideas, identify, and analyze missed opportunities, and strategize on how to course correct.
  • Partner and liaise with local and HQ teams on strategies to generate events and activations that create buzz and awareness in the region.
  • Provide direction & mentorship to team members & future direct or in-direct reports.
  • Embody the values of the Maison and act as an ambassador for Boucheron to identify opportunities that enhance our presence in the American market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Preferred 5+ years of proven experience in events management and brand activation.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and creative thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with luxury and creative industries; extensive industry relationships in luxury, fashion, and brand activations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-centric, friendly, and upbeat personality; effective at managing multiple projects.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment with hand on the pulse of the competitive landscape.
  • Creative & tactical thinker with a proactive, organized, and diligent approach.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality & discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Additional Information: Boucheron successfully kicked-off the global re-launch in 2017 with a strong geographical development on historical markets (Europe, Japan, Middle East), while also developing new major territories in China & Korea. Starting in 2023, Boucheron will write another page of its history with the conquest of the American market.The next step of this plan is the creation of a solid Marketing & Communications team to lead the efforts in establishing Boucheron as the most stylish & cutting-edge French High Jewelry Maison in the American market. In terms of scope, the journey will begin with US & Canada, while the rest of the Americas will be explored at a later stage.
