Theory is looking for a Buyer on the Full-price Merchandising Men's team. This person will support the team to ensure seasonal strategies and in-season business are executed to achieve financial targets. The Buyer will create and maintain weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting needs to influence in-season assortment, pricing actions, and seasonal assortment architectures. Reporting includes but is not limited to weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales; weekly delivery reporting; monthly inventory movement directives; Monthly pricing directives; Monthly seasonal sample audits, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales and promotional results for ownership categories at the Omni and sales channel level.
  • Advise and collaborate on pricing actions to exceed in-season budgets.
  • Build strategic seasonal assortments of ownership categories in collaboration with the Men's Director and Global merchandising counterparts via key seasonal meetings.
  • Partner with Men's Director and Planning & Allocation on seasonal assortment diversification at the regional and store level.
  • Build and maintain seasonal sample tracking from an initial pass from global counterparts to all cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with the marketing team on weekly, monthly, and seasonal email and social strategies, maximizing our communication around necessary seasonal receipts while highlighting the evolution and vision of the overall brand.
  • Execute and communicate all pricing and promotional actions for the Men's DTC business to appropriate sales channels.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute Seasonal investment reviews and Product Knowledge decks.
  • Create, maintain, and execute seasonal receipt sizing distribution.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years on a vertical buying team as an Associate Buyer or Buyer
  • Strategic thinker who can understand how their detailed work contributes to the larger picture (overall brand identity and current strategy).
  • Balanced mind marrying the quantitative with the qualitative.
  • Must be highly organized; ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer skills: Excel (understanding vlookups, sumifs, and pivots a must) and PowerPoint.

Salary range: $65,000.00-70,000.00*

*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
