Alo is seeking a Creative and detail-oriented Art Director to lead the development and execution of campaign assets for our yoga and fitness initiatives, while also overseeing the men’s and women’s e-commerce visual strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion and strong interest for fitness and fashion, along with a keen eye for stylized and editorial imagery.RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Campaign Assets for Yoga and Fitness
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to conceptualize and execute compelling campaign assets that resonate with the ALO target audience.
  • Develop art direction for photography and videography sessions, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and messaging.
  • Oversee the production process from concept to final delivery, including coordinating with photographers, models, stylists and Hair and make-up.

Men’s and Women’s E-Commerce

  • Lead the visual strategy for men’s and women’s e-commerce platforms, focusing on creating stylized and editorial imagery that elevates the brand. Imagery should be imagery conveys a sense of athleticism, style, and performance, appealing to active individuals who prioritize both functionality and fashion in their workout. E-commerce imagery features clean backgrounds and minimal distractions, allowing the focus to remain on the product itself. ALO image standard would always be high-quality photography to showcase products in the best possible light. This includes attention to detail, proper lighting, and crisp, clear images. Imagery emphasizes the details of each product, allowing customers to get a clear view of the fabric, fit, and design elements. This emphasis on performance technology reinforces the brand's commitment to quality and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines for e-commerce image standards, including lighting, set design, color processing, and cropping.
  • Train and mentor studio team members on e-commerce direction and workflow, ensuring consistency across all product imagery.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Head of Marketing, Stylists, digital partners and photographers to innovate new concepts and ideas for both campaign assets and e-commerce imagery.
  • Conduct regular tests and presentations to explore and implement updates to art direction for e-commerce on a seasonal or as-needed basis.
  • Participate in the direction and execution of studio-based editorial marketing image creation, including choice of lighting, set environment, processing, and editing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as photography, visual arts, or graphic design.
  • Proven experience in art direction, preferably in the fashion or fitness industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating compelling campaign assets and e-commerce imagery.
  • Proficiency in Capture one, Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for fitness and fashion, with an awareness of current trends and industry standards

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
