Purpose:

In this position, you'll work with our Sr. Manager of Production to help drive the production processes. The ideal candidate must be hardworking, detail-oriented, organized, a team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they must be able to maintain their composure as the production department is a high-pressure, fast-moving field. This is a great experience and opportunity to learn about the world of apparel production, specifically sportswear.

This is an in-house position, you must be able to work out of True Religion HQ in Gardena, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all production/WIP processes from order placement through delivery of the product to our DC.
  • Weekly follow-up with vendor for production WIP and time and action milestones adherence.
  • Track shipments to ensure the orders have left the factory in accordance with the delivery schedule.
  • Create and issue Purchase orders to the factory.
  • Anticipate and proactively tackle potential raw material, margin, sourcing, and execution issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, design, and technical design to achieve the best product results from all angles of the business.
  • Organize and track all outcoming/incoming production approval (Fit/PP/TOP) sample collections.
  • Process lab dips/knit down/strike-offs daily with our designers for review.
  • Advise the factory on carton packing instructions by channel/wholesale customer.
  • Advise the factory of trim details and placement requirements of the customer
  • Manage and maintain internal approval comments of swatches and pre-production samples for color standards, lab dips, and strike-offs.
  • Communicate with manufacturers daily.

Qualification:

  • Skilled professional with 3 + years of import production experience in the apparel Industry.
  • 3+ years' experience in multiple categories such as knits and wovens is a plus.
  • Experience working with overseas vendors is a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel with strong skills to navigate through software systems.
  • Full circle knowledge is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of production processes, costing, and logistics
  • Solid knowledge of technical requirements related to testing fabric, trims, and garments.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage workflow and projects.
  • Self-motivated, creative problem solver with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills with internal teams and overseas partners
  • Quick learner
