Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales and Margin Planning, the Wholesale Planner is responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and reporting Sales and Margin for the US Wholesale channel. This includes creating and maintaining sales forecasts and models by sales channel; establishing key account sales targets; and aligning sales plans to overall company strategy. This role partners closely with different functional areas throughout the organization, including Sales, Product Category teams, Finance, Demand Planning, and Market Intelligence.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position):

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain, Update, Publish and Maintain sales forecasts for assigned customer channels, customer sell through, and shipments.
  • Maintain and provide ad-hoc analysis to assist with the Sales team regarding Customer Analysis, Category Reporting, Target setting, etc.
  • Compare Sales and Margin results to forecast and prior year and explain variances.
  • Maintain and publish weekly management reports at Sales Channel, Account, and Style-level.
  • Partner with sales team to build strong collaborative relationships with key retailers to gain alignment on sales/shipment/receipt plans and projections for budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Monitor retail sell-through performance for key accounts.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong Excel background, including the use of pivot tables and advanced excel formulas to distill analysis into digestible presentations.
  • Organized, self-motivated, proactive thinker with sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to think cross functionally, manage large amounts of data from various sources and develop solutions in a fast-paced, tight timeline environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, utilizing resources effectively and drive the team for results in a fast-pace, growth environment.
  • Takes stakeholder-oriented initiative, including developing cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills combined with business acumen specific to Revenue, Margin, Service, and Inventory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to tailor messages to all levels of business
  • Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations.
  • Adheres to local, state, and federal laws.
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or SAC or other relevant industry software a plus

  • 1-3 years of experience in analytical roles, preferably in the Sporting Goods, Fashion, or Consumer Product industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative subject or equivalent work experience required.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP/FMS experience a plus
