Director, Market Management

The Director of Market Management will drive the build and execution of CtC (Concept to Consumer) strategies for Market Management, to enable successful sell-in/sell-out of product ranges and services according to the net sales and standard margin targets and with the clear focus to drive speed. This individual will act as the link between Squad Creation Teams, Brand Marketing, Partnerships & the category teams in the markets and support key brand strategies through cross-functional collaboration and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team that drives the communication as ONE voice of the brand into the markets and vice versa. Ensuring Global and Market alignment & Implementation of GTM (Go To Market) plans across all channels.
  • Drive the coordination and the operationalization of Key Global Milestones to support the Brand & Squad Strategies through the delivery of processes, tools & collaboration.
  • Lead the Market Seasonal Input process – ensuring that CTC input is provided into the Squad product creation process. Ensuring overall process excellence to ensure quality input & smooth seasonal planning via x-market alignment.
  • Lead the team to bring the latest market insights and trends (qualitative & quantitative) from the Market IBP submissions into Global review process. Enabling fast decision making by Squad & Finance leads during respective business review meetings.
  • For our APAC countries, lead the team to create the optimal country level ranges that is based on the RA provided by the CTC Merchandising Team and insights & strategy through collaboration with the APAC Country Clusters.

      • University degree in business/marketing (Master or MBA preferred)
      • Functional: 8+ years of relevant work experience in marketing/brand (ASIA regional experience would be beneficial)

    • Strong market and industry awareness
    • Track record of success and expert GTM knowledge
    • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
    • High influencing skills and ability to make fact based decisions
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to build collaborative relationships quickly and operate cross-functionally
    • Fluent in English and additional language skills are an advantage
    • Experience managing a team of direct reports
      • 5 years management experience
      • Willing and able to travel internationally
