Senior eCommerce Specialist

Reporting to the VP of eCommerce, the Sr. eCommerce Specialist will oversee and execute the short and long-range objectives, policies, budgets and operating plans for the eCommerce business unit. The selected candidate will work closely with various members of cross functional teams and will be responsible for aiding in the flawless execution of the omni-channel digital commerce strategy on owned webstores, and marketplace channels for Manhattan Beachwear.


  • Amazon.com-Specific Duties:

  • Strategically manage and maintain Amazon.com merchandising strategy and catalog, including: detail page content, (images, videos, copy, SEO, product titles, pricing, A+/EBC), ASIN variations/twisters, and ensuring accurate and timely product setups/launches (NIS) on the platform
  • Full ownership of merchandising, developing, and seasonally-refreshing multiple Amazon Brand Stores
  • Assist with executing promotional strategy on the platform (best deals, lightning deals, Prime Day deals, etc), and managing Amazon Vine campaigns
  • Collaborate with Finance/Logistics team on Amazon-related chargeback management by performing Root-Cause Analysis, initiating disputes, and recommending process improvements
  • DTC Shopify Site-Specific Duties:

  • Closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on brand strategies and to prioritize multiple projects with set deadlines.
  • Manage/optimize all site content, site merchandising (including new style setup), customer shopping experience optimizations, and recommend conversion rate improvement tactics.  
  • Execute promotional strategy on the webstores by marking down end-of-season goods, uploading promotional content, and implementing the marketing calendar
  • Assess current processes and recommend systems/process updates to eliminate redundancy and drive towards a more efficient and scalable DTC management strategy
  • Handle Customer Service escalations received from third party agency, as necessary



  • An entrepreneurial, creative and innovative mindset to proactively ensure the business stays ahead of the competition
  • 3+ years of experience managing a very high-ASIN catalog on Amazon 1P/3P (Vendor Central/Seller Central) platforms is a must
  • 3+ years of experience managing direct-to-consumer sites powered by platforms such as Shopify (preferred), BigCommerce, SAP Hybris, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Experience with email/SMS marketing platform preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a nice-to-have
  • Experience in product management in high growth apparel or ecommerce fulfillment industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, in particular, working with large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work with external clients and internal stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of swimwear, intimates and/or apparel industry is a plus.
  • Extremely strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing business development environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or related field.


Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
