About The Position

The Graphic Designer is a key member of the creative team who works closely with the Web Designers, Graphic Designers, Marketing, and Art Directors to create and support social, digital, and web-based creative for prAna. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating graphics for prAna’s social media, site, and marketing efforts. The Graphic Designer will carry out projects as directed by Creative Leadership, with high attention to detail and accuracy, in an aesthetic that aligns with the prAna brand.How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Create visual assets, graphics, and layouts needed for marketing efforts (various digital assets with a focus on social media)
  • Work directly with the Art Director to bring marketing and brand campaigns to life
  • Multitask and execute multiple small & mid-sized projects
  • Understand and troubleshoot brand elements as they relate to visual design
  • Accurately follow briefs and execute design projects, paying close attention to details
  • Follow brand guidelines and creative direction to produce visual assets (static and video) with a focus on social media
  • Proactively seek necessary information on project requirements to ensure clarity and alignment on timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and hand-offs
  • Work collaboratively & iteratively with Art Directors, marketing, and channel leads, to execute the vision of the brief.
  • Maintain best practices for social media, web, and digital design

YOU ARE

  • Creative and can execute strong ideas and elevate the design aesthetic of prAna
  • A climbing, and/or yoga enthusiast
  • Able to work autonomously and cross-functionally with ease
  • An agile team player who’s comfortable both following a plan and adapting when it changes

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, or an equal combination of experience and education
  • 3-5 years working experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Must be highly proficient with current versions of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven understanding of the principals of design, color theory, composition, typography, photography, and the ability to implement them to create dynamic on-brand creative and solutions
  • Stay on top of design trends for various brand and marketing channels and continually foster optimization and evolution of style
  • A passion for brand building and social media

Salary Range: $59,300 - $91,900
