About The Role:

Go-to-Market is an integral part of how we bring our brand and our products to life for OluKai consumers – both new and existing. This product launch powerhouse team is responsible for implementing exciting, innovative, and fun strategies that excite consumers and inspire them to buy our amazing sandals, shoes and slippers. We are looking to add a Specialist who is full of big ideas and gets excited by being organized to ensure everything launches according to plan. This person will play a vital role in our small, but mighty Marketing team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Go-to-Market Launches
  • Champion our go-to-market (GTM) efforts across the company.
  • Support the team in creation of launch calendars, organization of schedules, and development of GTM campaigns.
  • Engage in brainstorms, ideation sessions, and market research to come up with the best ways to bring OluKai products to market.
  • Coordinate the cross-functional team deliverables to ensure that everyone is on schedule, updating our project management tools, and has all questions answered.
  • Compile presentation decks to share with company leadership prior to campaign launch.
  • Prepare campaign wrap-up documents, reporting on key KPIs and campaign success.
  • Coordinate with planning team to ensure inventory is arriving and on time, prepare weekly updates during the GTM window to report on sell-through.
  • Schedule, plan, and assist with brainstorms to build GTM plans.
  • Innovate, be creative, and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to our GTM process.
  • Take risks, challenge the team to think of bigger and more creative ideas.
  • Go-to-Market Execution
  • Partner with the Creative team on execution of all GTM deliverables.
  • Procure Product for shoots.
  • Assist with video and still shoots as necessary.
  • Book studios, photographers, videographers, talent releases.
  • Process payments with the OluKai AP team.
  • Partner with Marketing on execution of GTM deliverables.
  • Coordinate with social media team on seeding/ influencer efforts.
  • Collaborate with external agency partners (such as PR, digital) to ensure they have required deliverables prior to launch, order product, etc.
  • Develop and execute integral launches to get the company informed and excited about upcoming launches.
  • Collaborate with events team to align GTM ideas/ product features with event plans.
  • Engage with Wholesale retail team to assist in GTM launches across all retail partners – digital and physical by getting into tools like Promoboxx, etc.
  • Execute GTM events and activations.
  • Partner with Owned Retail.
  • Work with our owned retail operations team to ensure GTM is executed at the in-store environments – front & forward, graphics, product education.
  • Drive more consumer value into the OluKai brand.
  • Brief Aloha Experience Team on all GTM launches so they are fully informed prior to launches.
  • KPI Tracking
  • Track and report on weekly sales.
  • Post Mortem on launch success.
  • Budget Management.
  • Align with manager on budget for each initiative.
  • Track and manage to budget target, managing up prior to exceeding.
  • Establish appropriate budget.
  • Marketing Partner
  • Engage with the rest of the Marketing team to ensure execution is top notch.
  • Assist with marketing projects, order fulfillment, etc.
  • Top Consumer Initiatives.
  • Support retention efforts for high LTV consumers planning digital and in person events for this group.
  • Work closely with email/ SMS team to create personalized experiences

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years in marketing for a lifestyle brand or advertising agency in the lifestyle space.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • Experience working with a project management tool, Asana preferred.
  • Experience working cross functionally across groups, including Creative teams.
  • Effective presentation of information and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented, with high standards of honesty, ethics, and personal accountability.
  • Job is located in Irvine, not a remote position. Hybrid work schedule, 3 days required to work in office, 2 days work from home.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $65,000 – 70,000; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.

Location: This is an in-office position, minimum of 3 days per week in office, in Irvine, CA. This hybrid work schedule is subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
