JOB PURPOSE

Provide our internal sales partners and external customers with the best customer service experience by assisting in all aspects of their account, as it pertains to NYDJ sales and customer service.  

 

 

CRITICAL RESULTS 

  •  Answering inbound telephone calls and provide excellent customer support
  •  Ability to work high volume call center 
  •  Follow all communication procedures, policies, and guidelines during every customer interaction
  •  Respond to customer questions and comments with speed and professionalism
  •  Research and resolve customer complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
  •  Ability to address and escalate unhappy customer calls to manager as necessary
  •  Ability to maintain a record of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
  •  Collaborate with call center team members, managers, and other departments to ensure overall customer and product satisfactions
  •  Ability to uphold NYDJ quality standards
  •  Knowledge of NYDJ apparel construction, fabrication, and fashion categories
  •  Liaise with, Shipping, Allocation, and Customer Service, as needed, to ensure compliance and execution of best practices.
  •  Ensure that all open orders are shipped out on the scheduled ship date
  •  Provide and create return authorizations for warranty and other product issues.
  •  Respond to all wholesale inquiries and distribute contact and distribution information to the
  •  Performs other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE 

  •  2+ years’ experience in apparel industry or a similar related call center environment
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •  Good problem solving and analytical skills
  •  Microsoft Office required, salesforce.com service cloud exp a plus.
  •  High school degree or GED required. College degree preferred
