Description

Duties:

  • Establish global launch potential for each initiative, and monitor product launches.
  • Track launch initiatives and launch package information and communicate changes.
  • Issue discontinuation list to factories and markets, and run discontinuation meetings with factory planners to project liabilities and to action plan the reduction of liabilities.
  • Create, update, and issue monthly roadmap for brands showing key deadline dates.
  • Manage the change forecast request process in conjunction with global demand planning.
  • Run MFR (JDA) reports in order to carry out volume analysis by brand, update volume/ value performance of new initiatives, access consumer market insight data, and carry out holistic reviews of the brand portfolios.
  • Prepare and participate in meetings regarding Initiative Demand Review, Brand Review, Project Execution review, project concept review.
  • Create, maintain, and issue the brand’s product catalogues.
  • Carry out volume estimation (initiative sizing) for all new initiatives at stage gate 0, 1, 2.
  • Assess market forecast vs. initiative sizing at stage gate 3.
  • Manage commercial priorities (arbitrage) and early shipment requests, and carry out arbitrage at product and market level in cases of scarcity.
  • Report up to line management on key LCM metrics, such as Value at Risk (excess), and launch on time availability.
  • Respond to market queries linked to product availability, codes, delays, deadline dates.
  • Ensure profitable growth and targeted performance per item.
  • Perform annual analysis by market/SKU, on brand portfolio.
  • Monitor low forecast SKUs and propose catalogue de-complexification.
  • Propose and monitor discontinuation programs and follow-up accordingly on action plans with operations.
  • Perform commercial management of excesses; identify root cause of inflow, and develop tactical and structural commercial action plans.
  • Run Microstrategy reports to identify non-performing inventory, and prepare presentations based on Microstrategy data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Supply Chain or a related field of study and 5 years of experience with demand and supply planning for a global company within the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Requires 5 years of experience in each of the following: SAP; JDA/Manugistics; Inventory management; Project management; Customer service; and International logistics.
  • Requires Project Management Professional Certification or Certificate in International Skills (CTI). 10% travel required.

40 hours / week, $80,000 - $110,000 / year
