Account Executive (Off Price)

Job Summary

The Off Price Account Executive will lead the off price business for the Americas Region.  He/she is responsible for building an off price strategy and distribution network to align with company’s goal and initiatives.  Additionally, they are responsible for obtaining maximum sales volume with minimal disruption to the full price business delivering on the margin and profitability goals.  He/she will be responsible for maintaining major buyer relationships/accounts and in addition to developing new accounts.  Account responsibility includes but is not limited to TJMaxx, Zulily, Nordstrom Rack, Hautelook.  He/she will also work with ecommerce on scheduling and coordinating TOMS Surprise sales and work with TOMS Retail on Warehouse Sales.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plan to support the offprice business by identifying key business opportunities with accounts; identify appropriate channel for product distribution maximizing revenue and margins
  • Compile and maintain inventory list inclusive of on order log and shipping information for all accounts; monitor daily for changes in distribution, deliveries and/or cancellations by being proactive and recommending alternative plans of action
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to identify items coming out of season that will flow to offprice and set plan to incorporate new offprice into markdown calendar by distribution channel
  • Manage comprehensive offprice inventory list in partnership with Supply Chain; optimize liquidation of excess MID’s by monitoring progress against offprice plan and own ATS inventory reports
  • Develop strong, effective relationships with internal and external partners that help identify opportunities to grow the business with current and potential accounts
  • Drive cross functional meetings to communicate offprice strategy to key stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organization
  • Align with ecommerce to plan and execute on TOMS Surprise Sale to achieve overarching TOMS revenue and profitability goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent product sensibility and conceptual ability
  • Proven ability to deliver results
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish effective partnerships with cross functional leaders
  • Ability to anticipate needs of our retailers
  • A demonstrated sense of design and understanding of how to convey a brand image in the execution of products/franchises and marketing
  • Lift, carry, push/pull up to 20 lbs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, merchandising or visual merchandising 
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in account management inclusive of off price management. This must include wholesale experience in the footwear industry or a similar related wholesale environment
  • Strong retail math, planning and sales analysis skills
  • Merchandising/buying experience in related business or brand
  • Customer focused, both internal and external to the Company; ability to influence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Travel: up to 20%
