The Brand Director will assist with the oversight, creation and direction of brand strategy and initiatives. This position will drive the overall vision of the brand and continue to evolve the imagery, voice and themes of TravisMathew as we evolve and expand into new customer and product channels. The Brand Director will work directly with and alongside Marketing Department leaders to be spearhead  all creative planning for the brand.

Essential Functions:

  • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies for various creative projects and oversee all planning aspects 
  • Provide overall creative direction for TravisMathew and continue to present new and innovative ideas to appeal to our current customer base as well as open us up to new demographic channels 
  • Oversee the creative direction of all image assets including all major photoshoot campaigns, product photoshoots and all photo assets needed for eCommerce, advertising, retail, print etc. 
  • Oversee and help execute all creative briefs for all video content including major series, product videos and brand content 
  • Guide unique and well-crafted copy that fits brands standards and communicates properly to the TravisMathew fan base 
  • Ensure all visual communication and brand standards are met throughout the company and marketing department specifically 
  • Help guide direction for all online assets including updates to the TravisMathew website, advertising, social media etc. 
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies that the marketing team can execute 
  • Review work and provide feedback to creative teams


  • 8-10 years experience as Marketing, Brand or Creative Director in a related field 
  • Advanced experience in eCommerce Marketing and online advertising 
  • Experience in retail and wholesale marketing 
  • Experience with a variety of software, including Photoshop, InDesign, etc. 
  • Excellent creative leadership skills 
  • Excellent planning and communication skills 
  • A strong understanding of design, copy and general marketing guidelines
  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts 
  • Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
