OVERVIEW:   

Responsible for the leadership, strategic reporting and analysis relating to the retail and new business initiative segments. Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee retail store sales, payroll and bonus budgeting/strategic plan process
  • Manage the retail store expense budget, forecast and monthly close process
  • Prepare sales, key metric and payroll reporting and analysis for Executive Meetings
  • Create financial modeling, forecasts and analysis for new business growth opportunities
  • Development and execution of Executive Committee, Audit Committee and Board of Directors packages and presentations
  • Analyze sales and labor planning models and processes.  Propose and implement improvements to the models and processes that optimize efficiency and business decision making
  • Act as a liaison between Finance and other departments across the organization in order to facilitate forecasting and analysis
  • Collaborate with finance and business leaders to identify business risks/opportunities while developing solutions and driving performance throughout the organization

Required Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • More than 7+ years of store finance experience, preferably in specialty retail or a publicly traded consumer products company
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Management experience required
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects
  • Strong focus on accuracy and ability to work with detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint,
  • Hyperion Experience a plus

 EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
  • MBA or CPA experience preferred
