This position will manage the recruitment process from sourcing through hire within a fast paced and high volume work environment.  The ideal candidate will have proven track record within the Apparel/Footwear, Retail or Sports Industry, using creative and alternative recruitment strategies to identify, attract and hire quality talent.


The primary responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for full life-cycle candidate management.

  • Source candidates through a variety of recruitment methods such as employee referrals, internet, cold calling, networking and job fairs to ensure we find the most qualified candidates.

  • Screen resumes, interview and refer the top qualified applicants that meet the functional needs of the department to hiring managers for interviewing.  Provide initial screening for managers to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, competencies, and salary requirements.

  • Drive the recruitment process for hiring leaders -- coaching and guiding managers throughout the process. This includes creating a formal interview process, gathering documented feedback and providing best practices on how to best assess talent.

  • Leverage data and reporting to inform key stakeholders using applicant tracking system, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Develop specific recruiting plans that support business goals and functional needs. Provide hiring leaders with advice, direction, and direct feedback throughout the interview and selection process to assist them with making informed hiring decisions.  Attend staff meetings to position Talent Acquisition as a true business partner.

  • Own the ATS.

  • Manage compliance and processes with respect to all DOL requirements, work permits and immigration needs.

  • Extend offers to selected candidates and arrange for relocation when necessary.

  • Develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.

  • Assist with department projects and initiatives.

  • Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and management.


  • BA/BS and a minimum of 7+ years experience in the recruiting field.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) as well as the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and to manage several projects in various stages.

  • Strong communication (verbal, written, listening) skills.

  • Strong attention to detail & highly organized.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi task in a demanding environment.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers.

  • Experience with high volume, full cycle, corporate and executive recruiting.

  • Evidence/Examples of successful, creative recruiting and sourcing candidates.
